And finally, it’s here! After sharing way back in January that I was working on a new design for my blog, we finally have things up and running. The last 6 months have been incredibly full of craziness and transition for our family, so I’m very excited to finally have at least my little corner of the internet in order. Let me show you around!

My favorite, favorite part of the new design is the header. Isn’t it gorgeous? My very talented friend, Melissa Kuo, created the image and lettering herself with watercolor. I was completely floored when she first sent me her work. I ultimately chose this image from the others because out of all the other options, it was the one that made me stop, gasp a little, and say out loud, “I REALLY LOVE this one.” A good reason to choose it right? I still wanted to incorporate the handwritten letter look (the original version had stamped), so Melissa put together this for me which was perfect.

The right sidebar is the other area that is the most different. You’ll notice new buttons that will take you directly to subscribe to my blog by email, my Instagram, Pinterest, and a link to the RSS feed which you can add to your blog reader of choice.

“At a Glance” is for newcomers to the blog who want to get an initial sense of what I’m about. It was fun going through all my entries in the last few years (there were so many I forgot that I had written!), and it was hard to narrow it down to four. We’ll start with these but they just might change from time to time.

Lastly, I must give a shout out to my amazing husband, who takes care of all the techie things for my blog and put together everything for the new design. Hours of work, in the midst of his busy job, managing our home remodel, and loving on me and our kids. He’s the best.

With the new design, the blog is finally a space that I feel like I can nestle into a little more. I’m hoping you enjoy it as much as I do!
