About Me

Hi! I’m Sarah. A while ago my husband Patrick told me that I should start I blog. I told him, “No way!”  Now a few years later, as a new mama and new homeowner, I have a lot that I’m exploring, and I wanted a space to share. It’s not the first time my husband was right.

A little bit more about me.

I grew up in the evergreen state, Washington, where I learned to recycle, live green, and do all things DIY. Being biracial has also shaped a lot of how I see the world. If you’re wondering, most people are, my mom is Korean and my dad is Caucasian. To add more to the mix, Patrick is Chinese-American. So, our babies are going to love kimchi, warm apple pie, and niu rou mian (beef noodle soup).

I currently live in the bay area where I can keep a garden year round and have the option to plant an amazing number of fruit trees. One of my dreams is for my family to eat 100% of our produce from our garden. We’ll see how that goes.

More specifically, we live in the Silicon Valley and are neighbors with Google, Facebook, and Apple, among many others. With the birth of our second baby, I transitioned to being a full-time mom and am learning what that means in our context. And now a few years later, we have three little ones and one on the way. Come explore with me!
