one. We are in summer break mode over here, and it’s so nice. I love the slow mornings and having my older ones home all day. We keep camps to a bare minimum, but I do like to have one planned outing a day to keep us all from getting restless.

two. One of my recent obsessions has been baking challah bread! I blame it on Molly Yeh, whose show Gianna and I love watching together. I can’t get over the fact that my daughter gets to watch someone on television who looks like her! I love the episodes where Molly’s Chinese-American dad cooks with her, so cool.

three. Speaking of Asian representation, have you seen the Netflix film, Always Be My Maybe ? I giggled through most of it. Pat and I also recently discovered Kim’s Convenience on Netflix and are really enjoying it.

four. I just chose this book for my book club read this month. Runners up were The Nest and Becoming.

five. My skin has not been happy with the Neutrogena face soap that I found in our toiletries bin and decided to use up, so I ordered a family size of this. I loved it in the past and my go-to green beauty expert is forever gushing about it.
