one. Smitten Kitchen posted this today. And, I’m making it ASAP. I actually wish I had it right now to put in my belly! It’s the perfect use of the 3 packages of saltines that are left over from the first trimester and, my recent insane chocolate cravings have continued.

two. Speaking of cravings and being pregnant. I have only one more week left before I start the THIRD TRIMESTER. How did that happen? I’m trying to enjoy the second trimester while it lasts for 7 more days, because the next three months are all about getting really huge and enduring the hot summer months. Not a good combo! Enough complaining though.

These days I’m enjoying feeling my baby girl move and kick inside my belly. She’s an active one. I’m getting more and more eager to meet her. To see what she looks like (how much will she look like her big sister?), to feel her little toes, to look into her eyes for the first time, to see her watch her brother and sister run around her… I’m really looking forward to the time when she’s ready to come out.

three. But she needs to wait a little longer because we’re moving forward with plans to remodel our home! As it’s currently slated, our house will be done at the end of September and baby girl comes around the middle of that same month. So… We’ll figure it out as we go.

Part of the remodel involves re-doing our kitchen. I am so, so excited. And also very overwhelmed! I’ve been rediscovering Pinterest and started a board with some design ideas. We’ve already got the layout of the kitchen set, and now I’m thinking about how to arrange the cabinets, fixtures, a new oven, countertops… all that fun stuff. I’d LOVE input! What do you love about your kitchen? What drives you crazy? What do you wish you had or could change?

four. I think it’s about time that I watch Frozen. The kids have been really into the soundtrack (even though they haven’t watched the movie either) and we listen to it constantly. All the while, I’ve been a little confused about what the movie is actually about! What’s all the hype around Elsa, anyway? She seems kind of mean and reclusive, Anna is so cool! Why isn’t everyone wearing shirts with her face on it? And, I think there’s some sort of love triangle going on? I think my mind will be blown when I watch it and learn what the story is actually about.

five. I shared months ago that I’m planning to redesign the look of my blog. It’s still happening, I promise. I’ve chosen a theme and it’s just a matter of putting it together. I really love it and am excited to share it soon!
